About the Right Click Test
- The test counts right-button press events inside the test area and blocks the context menu so it never interrupts your run.
- Grip, finger choice, button shape and settings can change right-click speed. Compare runs on the same mouse; there is no fixed expected gap from left-click CPS.
- In games, the right button often handles blocking, aiming, and placing - in Minecraft PvP, fast right-clicking places blocks and uses items.
- Short or uneven intervals can reflect technique, device settings or browser event delivery. They do not by themselves diagnose hardware or identify a clicking technique.
- CPS and short intervals cannot confirm switch wear. If one physical press seems to register twice, use the Double Click Test and compare another device or setup.

What is a good right-click CPS?
There is no universal CPS grade. Compare completed timed runs with the same input type, target, duration and technique; this tool does not rate gaming ability.
Why is my right-click slower than my left-click?
Grip, finger choice, button shape and settings can change right-click speed. Compare runs on the same mouse; there is no fixed expected gap from left-click CPS.
Why doesn't the right-click menu open during the test?
The test intentionally blocks the browser context menu inside the click area. Outside the test area your right-click behaves normally again.
How do I know if my right button is failing?

Can I test other mouse buttons here?
This page focuses on right-button speed. To check whether any button, including the side buttons, is double-clicking by itself, use the Mouse Double Click Test. Use the CPS test for left-button speed and the Scroll Test for the wheel.
