What it detects
Total clicks, average CPS, the peak one-second burst your jitter reaches, best interval, and how consistent your vibration rhythm stays.
Jitter clicking uses controlled forearm tension to vibrate your hand and fire off far more clicks than normal tapping. Measure what the technique is worth in real CPS - and track your progress as you train.
• Jitter clicking works by tensing the forearm and wrist so the hand vibrates rapidly, letting the index finger bounce on the button 10-14 times per second.
• Normal tapping tops out around 7-8 CPS for most people; a practiced jitter click typically adds 3-6 CPS on top of that.
• Keep your aim in mind: the vibration that speeds up clicking also shakes the cursor, which is why many players jitter click only in close-range fights.
• Short bursts are the point - jitter clicking is exhausting, and most players hold peak speed for only 5-15 seconds. The 10-second test matches how it is used in games.
• A light, tactile mouse switch handles jitter clicking better; heavy switches absorb part of the vibration and cost you clicks.
• Stop immediately if you feel tingling or pain in your forearm or wrist. Jitter clicking strains muscles and tendons, and moderation matters more than any score.
Jitter clicking results vary with technique, fatigue, and hardware, so benchmark yourself under the same conditions each time.
Total clicks, average CPS, the peak one-second burst your jitter reaches, best interval, and how consistent your vibration rhythm stays.
A large gap between peak and average CPS means your jitter collapses over the run; wildly uneven intervals mean the tension is not yet controlled.
Light optical or tactile switches register vibration clicks best. High debounce settings in mouse software can silently swallow part of your clicks.
The page times click events delivered by the browser. Focus loss, heavy background load, or event throttling can shave clicks off a fast burst.
Jitter clicking is a mouse technique; screen tapping cannot reproduce it. Results on touch devices measure tapping, not jitter clicking.
